FOR SALE: L&R Flint Lock Model #RPL 03 to fit T/C Hawken, Renegade, etc. New, unfired, totally unused, with original paperwork and instructions. These locks are made as an upgrade for Thompson/Center flintlocks, and have stronger springs, a tighter fitting, more weather proof frizzen and also hold the flints more securely thanks to the ridges. This new flint lock will replace the flint lock on the Thompson Center, Hawes brand imported Hawken, or early Lyman Plains rifle. We recommend our 3/4' x 7/8' knapped English flints, #FLINT-ENG-6 for use with this lock. Overall length is 5' x 1' width. Bridle is threaded 8-32 for factory T/C lock bolt. Product DescriptionChipped Black English Flint from England are the most popular and the most traditional flints available. These flints come from the same cliff that was used in the 1700s. They come in all sizes from 5/8 to 1 1/8 musket flint. 
The 5/8 is used on Thompson Center Flintlocks.
The 3/4 is for most L&R Locks. 
Pedersoli Frontiersman like the 7/8. 
Most trade guns and the Brown Bess likes the 
1 1/8 flint.
